With the aim of putting his name, his state and Nigeria once again in the book of imortality chef Tartenger Victor the founder of Naira Victor Kitchen embarked on his 135 hour cooking record on Tuesday 27th February to break the record of the current World Guinness cook -a- Thon holder Alan Fisher .
The 30 year old Benue chef finally surppassed the Alan fisher record heading to the final phase of the cook -a-Thon held at Tiger bar in Makurdi where benue sons and daughters were on ground to support and cheer him up to achieve the journey he started which was to complete the Guinness non stop cooking record.
Before the cook marathon began chef victor made it known that all food prepared will be given out free and some taken to the Internally Displaced Persons Camps in Makurdi the state capital to have a taste of his cook-a-Thon meals.
Victor Tartenger emerged victorious after clocking his earlier proposed 135 cooking record attempt which was to end on Sunday March 3rd 2024.
Celebrations are currently going on at Tiger bar with benue influencial Son’s and Daughters tripping in to congratulate Chef Naira for persevering to the very end.
