An angry mob at Alihame in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State has set a suspected kidnapper to ashes.
According to reports the Alihame Vigilante Group arrested about nine of the suspected kidnappers in an uncompleted complex following a distress call by a resident in the area by Oriri axis Agbor – Obi on Saturday February 24th.
The incident drew the attention of residents from different coners of community upon arriving at Board Road , Alihame and the AVG immediately alerted the police for quick response.
On taking the suspected kidnappers to the police station the angry mob could not hold their breathe as they dragged one of the kidnappers who fell off the police van and landed his head on the tarred road with blood gushing out from his head.
He was immediately set ablaze before the police and AVG could notice was happening.
Items recoverd from the suspected kidnappers were dagger’s, six riffles, bullets, and cellphone’s.
The recovered exhibits and suspects were handed over to the Nigerian Police for further, proper investigation and prosecution.
