Rivers state Governor Fubara Siminalayi has confirmed the reinstatement of His Royal Highness, Muhammad Sanusi II as the 14 Emir of Kano.
In a press statement signed by Fubara’s Chief Press Secretary, Chukwudi Nelson wrote that the reinstatement of Sanusi as the 14th Emir of Kano shows that his dethronement and banishment was against the wish of the good people of Kano.
He further said Sanusi at a time visited River State to “add quota to his administrations campaign to restructure the economic trajectory of the state”.
Governor Fubara enjoined the good people of Sarki of the ancient city of Kano their maximum support to succeed, he made an appeal to the spiritual leader of the Tijanniyah Sufi order of Nigeria, HRH Emir Sanusi Muhammad II , to rule the over 60 million adherents of the Sufi order in Nigeria with Love Wisdom, Courage while working tirelessly to bring lasting peace, justice, and fairness to all the people of Kano.
He wished HRH Emir Sanusi a fruitful reign that would bring unending progress and prosperity the people of the state .
