Former Chelsea and Super Eagles defensive midfielder, Mikel Obi is hopefull that Borrussia Dortmund will wear the crown as champions against Real Madrid in the final of the UEFA Champions League.
On Saturday 1st June both teams will clash at Wembley for the prestigious European trophy.
The former champions league winner , said that Borrussia Dortmund deserved to win the trophy more than Real Madrid who already have 14 of this trophies in their museum.
His statement reads thus ;
“To be honest , I really hope that Borrussia Dortmund win the UCL final. They deserve it more Real Madrid do”.
“When you see that players like Kroos , Nacho , Carvajal and Modric won 5 trophies of the UCL it is a bit unfair because this players are not even close to being the best in their positions”.
“This shows that trophies can be misleading. I can name 10 players in the same positions that are better than these footballers”.
