Man sets a mosque on fire leaving worshippers injured at Laraba Abasawa in Gezawa Local Government Area of Kano State.
The arsonist struck when members of the community were observing their “Subh” prayers.
Information gathered from a member of the community who name remains anonymous, “The man used petrol and lit fire while about 40 persons were praying inside, he locked the mosque after setting the building on flames.
It took awhile for residents to know what was happening in other to rescue the victims who were struggling to break out.
Not less than 20 worshippers, were reported to have sustained serious injuries have been rushed to Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital in Kano.
