Nigerian famous Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw was born on the 19th of July , 1971, she was raised in the Nation’s Paradise (Calabar) Cross River State Nigeria, she is the oldest sibling of four children.
Kate attended her primary and secondary school education in Calabar and Lagos respectively. She spent one year at University of Calabar reading remedial studies and thereafter Joined the school of Medical Lab Science.
She began her career in the Entertainment industry in 1993 .Her first major appearance in a major Nollywood movie was “When the Sun Sets” her excellent performance during audition won her the role she played.
Due to Kate’s talent and dedication to her carft she has badged numerous awards alongside revered recognition in the industry as one of Nollywood top tier actresses.
Her background dives a foray into politics, reason while she bought the courage and contested for a seat in the Nigerian House of Representatives in 2015 in other to showcase herself on the platform of commitment to societal change and development.
