

Let us shine the spotlight today on one of Benue’s industrious son in the person of LUTER EMMANUEL IKYOBO who is steadily making Benue proud in the entertainment sector as an Actor.
Born on the 23rd of september in the year 1987
He hails from Mbakaange council ward of vandiekya local government of Benue State.
He graduated from Benue state university where he read theater arts, and wasted no time putting all he learnt, into good practice after completing his NYSC in Akwa Ibom state.
He made his first debut in the movie Mama Gee goes mad which was directed by Ugezu j. Ugezu and was shot in Benue State with a whole lot of nollywood actors featured in the project.
That was the fuel needed to fire his dreams of becoming one of the best actors ever to come out of his state and Nigeria in general.
His dreams thus been set on fire, made him leave Benue in search of Movies directors, and actors to work with and he struck gold.
He has been able to act in over 50 movies including, True legends,born to live, Natasha (directed by ifeanyi onyeabor)
The island, Kada river directed by Toka Mcbaror, pillars of Africa by One soul, Operation last dance produced by Ejebo, The holy Communion directed by JP, House keeper, love and pain, police alert, Doctor, Mama Cas, Hotel manager directed by Rose Benson, No parking directed by Ebere, Almost perfect directed by Wale Adesanya, Price for immortality by young G, Miss and Mrs directed, Eagle wings, The pledge by Paul Apel Papel, Mother of good conceal directed by Israel, love and hate directed by young G and a host of other movies to mention but a few. He has also worked with a whole lot of respected actors home and abroad including Hakeem Kae Kazim a Nigerian Hollywood actor.
Along his acting career, he took part in a reality TV show ‘HEROES REALITY TV SHOW“where he emerged as the first runner up and ended up with the Title “AMBASSADOR OF CULTURE AND TOURISM BENUE STATE”
Mr Luter Ikyobo is the true definition of a Benue son as he is hardworking,talented and still striving for success.
