Gov Seyi Makinde Wins Oyo Election For Second Term.

The state returning officer Professor Adebayo Bamire who announced the result of the election declared that Makinde who is seeking for a second term in office defeated all candidates who contested with him to win the election.

The election was conducted in all the 33 local government area’s in the state on Saturday.

Makinde who contested on the platform of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has been declared the winner of the Saturday March 18th election.

Bamire , the vice Chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University, announced that Makinde scored a total of 563,756 votes to defeat all other party aspirants.

Prof. Adebayo Bamire while speaking announced that the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate, senator Teslim Folarin scored 256, 685 votes.

Adebayo Adelabu the Accord candidate scored a total of 38, 357 votes.
