The convocation was filled with dignitaries ranging from academies and political leaders, the state Governor Samuel ortom who is a visitor to the university during his speech congratulated the graduands not living out the staff for their endless contribution to the educational sector and not give up but always ready to serve in other to train the future leaders of tommorow.
The Governor Samuel ortom said he is not in doubt with the challenges they will face but should be ready face their fears squarely as true future leaders of tommorow.
The outgoing VC thanked the students and staff for their contribution and corporation during his tenure. He also saluted senator Gabriel suswam senator representing Benue North East senatorial district for his donation of 80 solar lights panels to the university. Dr Bob Manuel the II who is appointed as the new VC promised to take the university academic league to the next level and requested for maximum support from both the staff and students.
