Karim Benzema Joins Saudi Arabia Champion’s Al-lttihad

Real Madrid’s club legend Karim Benzema has joined Saudi Arabia Champion’s Allthad on a three year deal after his departure from his former club.

The French striker announced to part ways from the Spanish club after spending 14years in which he won the Champion’s league five times and La li ga four times .

He was has a record of 354 goals for Madrid seconding Cristiano Ronaldo of Al Nassr who hit 450 goals during his glorious days at real Madrid.

Al lttihad is managed by Nuno Espirito Santos former Tottenham and wolves boss, who ended the Saudi Arabia league with five points ahead of Al Nassr who came second last season.

The team management posted a video on Twitter where Benzem signed a contract until 2026 season, although disclosure of financial details is still unknown.

“I am very happy to experience a new football league in a different country” the 35 year old , soon to wear the No 9 jersey said.

I have been very lucky to archive great things in my career and all I can in Spain and Europe. I now feel it is time for a new era, challenge and project. I humbly look forward to joining my teammates and together we will take over our great club and Saudi Arabia league to the next level.

Benzema who signed with Madrid since 2009 has a club record of 25 trophies. His last season with real Madrid saw him to lead the team to victory as captain but ended second to Barcelona in La Liga and lost in the semi finals of the Champions league to Manchester City.

After scoring in his last Madrid game on Sunday which ended in a draw against Athletic Bibao Real Madrid benzema bid a farewell to his fans.
