It was a moment of triumph for Isaac Nyianshima, a distinguished alumnus of Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University, Makurdi (formerly University of Agriculture Makurdi), as he was formally convocated and conferred with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics. This milestone event took place during the combined 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th, and 31st Convocations, honoring graduates from the 2017/2018 to 2023/2024 sessions.
Although Isaac was unable to attend the ceremony due to his current residence in the United States, his outstanding academic achievements were recognized and celebrated. He emerged as the best graduating student in the Department of Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science, as well as the College of Sciences, for the entire combined sets. Moreover, he was honored as the best graduating student for the whole university in the 2017/2018 session, with an impressive CGPA of 4.87.
Isaac’s remarkable academic journey was marked by hard work, dedication, and a passion for excellence. During his undergraduate days, his primary focus was on graduating with a first-class degree. Not only did he achieve this goal, but he also exceeded expectations, earning top honors in his department, college, and university.
