Nigerian Federal Lawmaker representing the good people of Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency and who is also the deputy spokesperson of the House of Representatives , Hon. Agbese Philip was allegedly attacked by hoodlums.
Reports have it that the federal lawmaker was attacked during a constituency engagement in Igumale Ado Local Government Area headquarters in Benue State on Thursday , April 4.
In an exclusive interview with residents of the community it was gathered that Honourable Agbese Philip visited home to engage in Easter festivities with members of his constituents when armed youths with deadly weapons in the likes of Cutlass, club knives stormed the venue and scattered the event proceedings.
The federal lawmaker Agbese was reported to have escaped narrowly being unhurt as he was moved away quickly by his security personnel.
Some of the hoodlums who staged the attack have been arrested by the security personnel and investigation has fully commenced.
